What is your exchange policy? How do I make an exchange?

Exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving the item. All exchanged items must be unused, undamaged, and unwashed. We cover the shipping cost for the first exchange request only for products purchased directly from our website (international orders are excluded).

To make an exchange, please email customer support at DSH@davidshepardhawaii.com, providing your order number, a description of the item you are exchanging, and details about the item you'd like to receive in return. If you created an account with us at checkout, you can also access your order history at davidshepardhawaii.com/account/login.

What is your return policy? How do I make a return?

Return requests must be made within 14 days of receiving the item. Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and unwashed (items will be inspected upon return).

Approved returns will incur a $10 restocking fee per item, with the remaining refund credited to the original payment method or a David Shepard Hawaiʻi gift card. To initiate a return, email customer support at DSH@davidshepardhawaii.com and include your order number and a description of the item you are returning.

For international orders, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. All items purchased during a sale or within the Sale collection are final and not eligible for a refund.

How can I track the status of my order?

After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Orders are processed and shipped on regular business days, excluding major U.S. holidays.

If you haven’t received a shipping notification within 48 business hours, please contact customer service at DSH@davidshepardhawaii.com to inquire about your order status.

Where can I find a size chart? How do I find my correct size?

Check out our size guide page to see measurements for all of our products in one place.

Alternatively, after selecting your desired item on our website, a size chart is available below the product images on its product page. Viewing the size chart on a desktop or computer monitor may provide a better experience.

Additionally, please note that some aloha shirts come in different fit options, such as tailored/slim fit and relaxed fit.

What are the recommended care instructions?

All our fabrics are machine washable. We recommend washing on a delicate cycle with cold water.

We advise against using the dryer—air drying will help preserve the artwork on the fabric. Dry cleaning, ironing, and steaming are also safe methods.

Will sold-out items or sizes be restocked?

Our designs are produced in limited quantities, but some popular designs may be restocked quarterly, sometimes in new color variations. We recommend purchasing your favorite items as soon as possible or signing up for email notifications to be informed when or if your desired items become available again.

Where are you located? Do you have a store I can visit?

While we do not have a standalone David Shepard Hawaiʻi store, you can visit various locations throughout Hawaiʻi that carry our products.

Visit our Locations Page for a full list of store retailers by island. Each store may carry different designs, so visiting multiple locations offers a unique opportunity to discover and experience our artwork up close.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping throughout all the Hawaiian Islands!

Are all design placements the same?

Because our aloha shirts and other products feature hand-drawn artwork and are sewn by local seamstresses, each piece is a unique work of art.

Design placements may vary slightly from those shown on models and advertisements, but the quality and sizing are consistent.

How do the Rewards and Referrals programs work?

Visit https://davidshepardhawaii.com/#smile-home to become a member of our rewards program.

The rewards program allows you to earn points on every order. With every $1 spent, you earn 5 points. Every 100 points earned equates to a $1 discount on your next order. For example, 1,000 points are worth $10 off. These points can be used toward future purchases.

Our Rewards program also offers a Referral Program, which allows you to send a $5 off coupon to a friend. When they redeem, you get $5 off too!

How do I redeem points earned through the rewards program?

To redeem your points, log in to your account at https://davidshepardhawaii.com/#smile-home or click the link in your rewards earned notification emails.

Once logged in, click the rewards icon located in the bottom right corner of the website.

Do you operate during weekends and holidays?

Our website is always available, and you can place orders any day of the year. However, orders are processed and shipped on regular business days.

On and around major U.S. holidays, delivery may be delayed due to high demand on U.S. shipping services.

Can I order custom pieces and designs?

Customization is available for color changes on existing artwork and selecting clothing items from our website—this is the quickest and easiest form of customization we offer, ideal for weddings and special events. New artwork and silhouettes can be created for bulk orders or for collaborations with influential individuals or entities willing to promote our brand. Do you offer wholesale?

Yes, we do. If you are interested in carrying our designs, please email us at DSH@davidshepardhawaii.com with your company/store name, website, and location.
